What ingredients are used in EAJ products?
Our products contain certified organic sunflower, safflowers, grapeseed and coconut oils. We also use hemp seed oil. For sweetner we use stevia suspended in coconut oil. We use potassium sorbate for a preservative.
Do your massage oils contain glycerin?
No, we do not use glycerin. Glycerin can be used as a natural sweetener, and it provides some preservative value as well giving a "warming" effect to massage oils and lubricants. However, we recognize that many women are sensitve to glycerin, and believe that it can contribute to yeast infections. Therefore, we do not use glycerin in thee products.
Are you products all natural?
We use vegetable based oils in our products, and stevia for sweetner. Potassium sorbate is used as a food grade preservative that is derived from natural sources. However, in its conversion to a preservative, it is no longer considered "natural".
EAJ's recognizes that many of us are trying to use the freshest, most natural ingredients and products available to us. We also recognize that many, many companies- and their marketing reps- use the term "natural" to capture the market of individuals dedicated to living a more holisitic lifestyle.
Unfortunately, there is no legitimate definition of "natural" in the FDA's classification. Many products labelled "natural" can have the same types of naturally-derived ingredients as products clearly labelled "artificial".
